More than any other release in his four-decade-long recording career, Prince's iconic double album Sign O' The Times captured the artist in a period of complete reinvention.
Primarily recorded between the end of 1985 and beginning of 1987, the era saw the dissolution of his band The Revolution, the end of his engagement to Susannah Melvoin, and the creation (and ultimate abandonment) of the albums Dream Factory, Camille, and Crystal Ball. By the end of that period of transformation, Prince emerged with one of his most urgent and wide-ranging releases to date – an epochal double album that would be hailed as a creative, critical, and commercial triumph.

The vinyl was backed with cardboard inside and outside of the lp mailer and the box was padded so it would not shake in the box (I got the shirt bundle in a large box). The sound quality of this pressing is amazing. I will definitely be buying future releases.

TimOctober 7, 2020Well this is fantastic, Sign O' The Times on peach colored vinyl, the coloring is rich and deep, the labels are amazing, the cover art with the matte / gloss finish is just perfect, and the weight of the vinyl is awesome, very solid. As for the sound, I don't really know, as I will never play it, I just collect colored vinyl for the love of it. I will say I am a bit surprised it wasn't done on purple like the others, but don't let that stop you from adding this masterpiece of a record to your collection. Coming from the Prince estate, I am sure it would sound fabulous.
